    Thanks Mate. So what you are saying is Install Windows 7 back and wait till 29th or wait till I get message to update to Windows 10.

    I am loving this build so much I was hoping I didn't have to do that. Can I not wait till 28th :) restore Windows 7 and reserve Windows 10 :). I already reserved Windows 10 before new SSD was bought. I take it I will have to install million updates before I get reserve message again on Win 7. :)
    You can roll back or reinstall to Win 7 anytime you like, now or later. But to get the 10 Official Release version there is no way you can upgrade from 10 Preview Builds.

    Can someone answer these:

    Info: I dont have the Windows 7/8/8.1

    1. If I install the Windows 10 Build 10240 and activate the keys provided here, can I use it after the expiration date.
    If you have a qualified Insider MSA, you should be okay to get all future Preview Builds according to M$. Can't tell now how long though...

    Try to register one, some said it still open, some said they are not signing now.

    Win 10 Preview Builds and Official Release are different matters. 10 Preview Builds does not track your Win 7 License. That's why you need to roll it back in order to upgrade to Official Release after 29.
    @jyusa

    As long as you upgrade from windows 7 or 8.1 to windows 10 preview then upgrade to the Windows 10 release, you can leave the insider program and windows 10 release will remain activated and you can get an iso to reinstall windows 10.

    Yes, Windows 10 preview does keep track of Windows 7 license.

    Yes, Windows 10 preview does keep track of Windows 7 license. I know that as a fact.
    2 of my machines were clean installed 10 Preview Builds, how do M$ know they have or not previous Win 7/8.1 licenses? If M$ does have all of our 7/8.1 licenses for Win 10 Official Release, I wonder why M$ does not let us upgrade from Preview Builds to Official Release directly?

    That's why I consider Previous Builds and Official Release are different matters!

    do you have a link where they said that. because i'm pretty sure gabe said clearly if you came from a genuine win 7 or 8, 8.1 account, that you CAN go straight to final release, without having to reinstall old os. although i'm pretty sure it had to be a computer that upgraded from that os to win 10.

    Jumping Jack cursor was due to CursorFX by Stardock, switching to standard cursor fixed that one. Pity, beautiful set of cursors. Ability to stretch Start menu is still not fixed. There was a reg hack for some earlier versions, got to find it and see if it would help.

    Don't remember, but many others said so. Need to dig it out. We will find out in 2 weeks anyway!

    yeah, i use to use cursorfx. i did like those cursors as well. but the good news is that win 10 has one of their functions, where you can change the cursor to contrast any background. at least that is cool.
