Am I the only one not getting this update ? I am on 10166 currently, logged in with my MS account and fully activated.

I am not getting it either and it almost 10:00 p.m. E.D.T here. I am going to try some disk clean up without deleting the previous installation files. The reason, I am not sure if I need to keep those when I switch over to rtm and quit the insider program. My partition could be too small.

Got it! Seems very nice, not a preview version. Also my Office 2016 icons no longer say preview. The only problem I had was that the install enabled on onboard Wi-Fi device I did not want enabled.

The edge seems to work better too, I did not have to log into this forum.

The elements don't show on the desktop when Task View button is clicked, eg.: the +add a desktop button or the additional desktop miniature windows, however, I can hover on them to show their content preview, but I'm guessing at which one I'm hovering on.

Started download at 10PM for my Oracle VB Win 10 Pro client. Currently at 23% of the install process.

Copied the install.esd to my Win 8.1 Pro system then did the ESDtoISO thing to generate the ISO.
Copied that to my Toshiba laptop running 10166.
Started the install there at 10:45 by mounting the iso and running setup.exe from the mounted iso.
Currently at 16% Checking for updates.

Oh that's positive. I'm in Canberra and don't have any update showing yet. I might reboot / restart the update service and see if I can wake it up somehow...!

No, you can leave the Insiders program and update to the finale release, or stay an insider and keep running Insider builds. As far as I know anyway.
I downloaded the update. I prepared an .iso from the .esd.

I restored an 8.1 installation, and used the .iso to update it directly to 10240.

The result was activated. However, it wasn't set up to receive insider builds, and when I chose to receive them, a popup stated that if I wanted to stop receiving insider builds, I'd have to wipe and re-install Windows.

Whew. Sure looks very much like a retail update.

Still no suggestion as to how it may be possible, in the future, to clean-install Win 10 on a blank HD.
