Took 20 minutes from restart to install. Don't forget to install insider hub.

This is still a beta build OS not confirmed as a RTM yet. If you upgrade over Win 7, when final release is out, you will still need to reinstall Win 7 to upgrade. Better to install to a different drive.
Why? As far as I know you can just update again to the official release on the 29th? Why reinstall if you originally did an upgrade?

You're saying that we can upgrade preview builds directly to final Windows 10? How? I believe Preview Builds are staying as Preview builds!

The same way you just updated to 10240. If you originally did an upgrade from a genuine Windows 7 SP1 or 8.1 install your good to go. If you clean installed you can update the official release too, you just won't be genuine or fully activated.

No, you can leave the Insiders program and update to the finale release, or stay an insider and keep running Insider builds. As far as I know anyway.
