    Hi all
Windows 7 user here and would like to give Windows 10 a try, haven't been following any news/info regarding Win10(i'm totally ignorant about it)so i would very much appreciate it if some can link me to a clean 10240 ISO download and tell me the basics on how and what to do in order to have 10,it if it's possible ? thank you.

    EDIT
My Windows 7 copy is legit, i've removed the Windows 10 upgrade offer at the time and now i just have no idea from where to start.

If it upgrades then it should activate.
Yes, but Joanne said she is going to do a clean install of 10162. If that won't activate, how will the upgrade? I thought MS said no keys will activate anything any more?

If 10162 doesn't activate then 10240 will not activate either. For example I did a clean install of build 10166 this morning and then I did an upgrade to 10240 with an ISO. 10166 was activated and 101240 was also activated when I finished the upgrade.

I followed a similar path.............10162 to 10166, deleted windows.old. Then on to 10240, however NOW I can't remove windows.old. Any clues??? Used the tutorial, all paths except "at boot up".

I suppose I am confused also. Last clean install I did was of 10166 and was asked to supply key. I would like to clean install 10240 but am afraid the key will not be accepted based on what MS officially stated about keys. Please help me understand

Looked and tried all the standard Apps and could not find anything that doesn't work. Only problem I have is that some names are in English and some in Serbian with atrocious translations. As they are all in alphabetical order in All Apps, it's difficult to find them fast. Ones I want, I stuck to Start menu, speaking of which, I cant make it wider and can have only 3 of medium size in a row.

You can only do an upgrade to 10240 and not a clean install at this stage. Assuming you activated 10166 the upgrade to 10240 will also be activated.

10240 cannot be RTM. If it is, yikes ! Buuuugggggyyy !

    Windows 7 final build 7600 / 16 = 475
    Windows 8 final build 9200 / 16 = 575
    So, Windows 10 final build 10800 / 16 = 675... ?

Yes I am activated with 10240. But you said you did clean install of 10166 this morning. It activated? No key required? Then you did upgrade to10240. Is that correct?
