I got a new product code with this build. No watermark and shows as Windows 10 Pro on the system page. No Pre-Release notation on the end.
Does anybody know when this build expires as there are no details available when running "winver".

    Yes, it's a nice 'feature', isn't it!

So far, 240 is just like 166 with no watermark, but I haven't been testing for very long...

    tell me you're joking please,
and all my pain in the last few months of testing results in this:

i understand .. I will wait for the 29th and just live with not being activated
    thanks buddy
If you stay with Enterprise it won't activate on the 29th. Even if you upgraded from Windows 7.Some editions are excluded: Windows 7 Enterprise, Windows 8/8.1 Enterprise, and Windows RT/RT 8.1. Active Software Assurance customers in volume licensing have the benefit to upgrade to Windows 10 enterprise offerings outside of this offer. http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windo...nMore_win10faq

    Administrator command prompt

    Type
    slmgr /dlv

Look for an evaluation end date.

Interesting, shows Retail Channel, Trusted Time 7/15/2015 7:54:53 PM. I don't see anything that looks like an expiry date? No evaluation end date entry shown?

I ran Enterprise on my laptop, briefly, but I knew it was excluded. Enterprise is just there so the IT guy can test it out, or anybody else that actually needs it for their job etc. Consumers are just going to run Home or Pro. I will eventually run Enterprise on my laptop with My MSDN key. Mostly so I can have another go at creating a Windows To Go drive. That's the only version that feature is available on.

Yeah, and this was a update from an OEM Windows 7 install, now it's a Retail install. Is this maybe the RTM?
