Yes. So would you think that the tool to offer an option of "Both" would still have the further option of a DVD. It should be greyed out??
I think in that case you need a dual-layer DVD.

Is there still a way to activate a fresh installation of 10240, so I reconvene trying out Insider Builds?
Either two different partition's or drive's. The same as dual booting.

No, this is not supported at this time.

Does the tool support dual-layer DVD discs for burning?
No. Currently, the tool does not support dual-layer DVD discs.

Then why would they let you d/l both architectures in one fell swoop and not gray out the option for DVD?

It is not directly supported but there's nothing preventing a user to create the ISO containing both bit versions, then burning the DVD by him / herself using any third party tool.

So we would have something new to discuss here. But seriously, it wasn't designed for multiple OS's and I'm sure any third party ISO burning tool would do it.

Kari, are the ISOs like Windows 7 where all versions are contained on any ISO file. Could you use the eicfg tool to remove the version and have an all version?

My ISO has 2 folders, x64 and x86:

Size:	31.5 KB
ID:	28261

I put the whole thing on a USB stick and Restarted; at the beginning I got a DOS style boot screen to pick the architecture, then went from there.

I need a Win 10 10240 ISO so I can do a clean install. Is there any official DL for this or do I have to torrent a copy.
I should have been more clear I need to do a fresh install of the latest INSIDER PREVIEW.

EDIT: I'm sorry I am easily confused between what is what anymore on this thread.

No. The ISO and USB media created with the Media Creation tool are edition specific, Home or Pro, in certain regions also Home N and KN & Pro N and KN¹.

Of course, if you have a valid Pro key you can install using Home edition and then simply enter the Pro key in Settings > Update & Recovery > Activation > Change Product Key to upgrade Home to Pro.

    Kari

¹ N versions = Windows without Windows Media Features (WMP), intended for European market, KN versions the same for Korean market.
