I saw a post where someone did that, Simrick, but of course I cannot remember which thread it was in. IIRC, they upgraded, left the Internet, clean installed and then reconnected to the Internet.
I know, it's getting so difficult to remember everything I'm reading in all the posts that have come out in the past few days!

I have not seen anything on this yet, but I would really like to know if someone took an ISO over to an "upgradable" system and then performed the upgrade without connecting to the internet at all, until after the upgrade was finished...

I've disabled cortana, or so I thought because I notice she's running in the background. Is there a way to stop her from running in the background?

No its not official, not that I know of. I upgraded from Windows 8.1 Core via the insiders page and got 10 Home. Read my other post for more info. IMHO, he got Pro as a result of a glitch that slipped through the cracks. I suspect he upgraded via a downloaded ISO, not via the Insiders page.
I kind of did that. I wonder if I upgrade to pro using the stick, if it would activate. Did he upgrade from 7 or 8.1?

    OneDrive Issue

Has anyone who actually upgraded noticed that OneDrive is continuing to sync files? Since upgrading to 10 on Wednesday One drive has been trying to sync this file...

Windows 10 Build 10240 for PC is now available-onedrive-issue.png

I've no idea what it is or where it came from but it is not in any of my folders, nor is it in my OneDrive folder online, It's only on the Win 10 laptop. Additionally I can not delete it because it says "the file is open in Microsoft OneDrive".

Also, If I stop OneDrive from syncing when I log in, the file disappears, but as soon as I turn on OneDrive, the file re-appears and OneDrive continues to try to sync it...

Anyone else see this or have an idea? BTW all my other files and folders are sync'd and good to go. It's just this orphan file that's making OneDrive continue to sync.

    Thanks.

I believe it was windows 7 Home Premium. Thus he should have got 10 Home, not 10 Pro.

Have you tried to zap the culprit file from the OD web interface?

It is?? LOL and how do you know that?? (j/k!)

I am just wondering...because that one post earlier where he got a "MS tech" to log in and "fix" his computer (read: infect). He said his ISP had been getting a lot of complaints about that "70% and stalling" problem. I was wondering if he could grab an ISO and then upgrade his computer without being connected to the internet.
