So, your clean install with iso didn't work. Did the second one work? I am download both 32 and 64 bit pro since I have two machines that need updating, one of which is 32 bit. Let me know if your second attempt succeeded

Has anybody got any action on Windows 10 build 10240? Any prompts or messages? I got the validating message in Windows 8.1 Pro on my desktop PC. Only just turned my laptop on so nothing on that yet.

EDIT: laptop now shows almost ready in the GWX App.
Mine's still sitting on, "OK, notify me when ready."

My desktop PC has been stuck at validating for hours now? WTF Microsoft. I must the I billion and 1 PC? Make the 1 billion and 2, my laptop is stuck at almost ready now for hours. I thought this reserve your upgrade was supposed to speed things up. I'd be done now if I had upgraded from an ISO.

    Hi everyone,

I have a Toshiba Encore tablet, I updated today to Windows 10, even I turn off the password requirement after wake-up, when I leave the tablet for a couple of minutes, turning it back on, it always requires for the password.

Could someone test on his/her own tablet?

What should I do to turn the password requirement off?

    Thanks for your answers.

I'm still trying to sort out what I do on my Windows 10 PC that's running the Insider Preview? Lave the insiders program or wait for a hint that now is the time? It was upgraded from Windows 7 an is running 10240.

Keep it in insider ring if you can, more excitement like that, there's no indication that it might become too troublesome.

Both my 7 and 8.1 installations downloaded the ~BT folder yesterday. Today, after hours of nothing, I decided to download the official ISO. I can't swear it's cause and effect, but shortly after I commenced downloading the ISO, the ~BT folder was drained of everything except for what looks like a recovery setup. This happened on both systems (I had to download the ISO for both Pro and Home). WTF? I really wanted to see how the upgrade was going to work, and now I'm afraid I have.
