Posted information on Windows 10 has Issues on Discussion. The tone of the responses was anything but helpful. More like dismissive. Read the posts on that thread.
IMO, it's better to start a new thread with your issues rather than tag onto an existing one. It's more likely to get attention. And the reason is not everyone who can help out is reading that thread looking to help out with your problems. Starting a new thread will get their attention.

I think you should be OK with that custom installation as long as you don't use the built-in HDMI audio of your graphics card. I can't be too sure here since I haven't had a Geforce card for years
Nope, never used that, all the sound in my system is managed by my Soundcard. Okay, thanks a lot once again! From now on I will check NVIDIA's site for the latest official drivers, as I was always doing. (Or through the nVidia control panel).

Yeah, it sounds sensible to me.
Glad to know you've got rid of that issue as well.
    Always happy to help :)

If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck referring to windows 10 build 10240 as the release version in my opinion.

Would you care to explain how my clean install of 10240 (See my other postings on how I did the test) activated and has no expiration date after I withdrew from the insider program via insider website and deleted all device but windows 10240 from my Microsoft account and I deleted all device from one drive as well? If it wasn't a release version it wouldn't be permanently activated would it? In case they do come out with a new build still doesn't mean build 10240 wasn't put on OEM computers. Most of my posting say it is my opinion or I could be wrong. Again, this is my opinion and I could be wrong. :)
wow, groze. you still arguing this point? i'm not sure what ducks have to do with it, but rtm candidates walk, talk, stand, sit and sh!# just like the rtm. it could be the rtm, it could be a rtm candidate or it could very well just be another preview build. the thing that sticks out here is, what does it matter which it is? why is this such an important thing to continually rehash again, and again, and again, and again, and again...? especially considering that we will all know for sure in just a few more days. what is the importance of labeling which one this is? what difference will it make if it is either of the three?

+1.. no harm in testing really. Just having a bit of fun. GIF was just to add a small bit of humor into the thread and I didn't mean to offend anyone here. @groze. :)

First, I am not arguing that against forum rules. I am just posting opinions and the results of my testings. You can take the results of my test anyway you wish and I never said I was right. The reason I keep posting is people keep asking me or commenting on my postings. Honestly, I am ed my test worked it shouldn't have. Also, it could be because my system has an oem maker in the motherboard and 10 recognized that as a legit system, it was activated on first boot.

Yes, I do have a sense of humor. I am not trying to make anyone hopping mad. :) No offense taken.

If it's a Windows 7 OEM marker, that by itself won't tell Windows what version of Windows 7 was originally installed. Not on a clean install. Technically it doesn't even mean Windows 7 was ever installed by the OEM on that PC. A PC shipped with an OEM Vista install could also have a Windows 7 marker, along with a Vista marker in the BIOS SLIC table. Depending on when it was manufactured. If the same motherboard/PC was shipped latter on with Windows 7 installed a simple BIOS update would add the Windows 7 marker. That same BIOS would show up as a download for that motherboard. The BIOS marker is useless by itself. You would have to have custom branded install media from that OEM to make use of it, so adding it to the BIOS is no big deal. You can't easily exploit that fact to try and get a free Windows 7 install. Sorry for the long winded replay, to much coffee today I think.
