Cool, so hopefully I will be able to buy ESET Smart Security before the 29th and hoping it'll be compatible before then as of now it's not working for me even the 9 beta won't.

Maybe that's why I didn't get that screen. I had already set my default programs before I installed 10240.
I did a upgrade install and all my default programs were set and I got that screen on two computers. I'm not sure why it didn't show up for you.

That is odd, maybe I'll see that screen on the 29th.

Probably less than 1 million are active (how many of us have more than one insider account), others wont be online or have give it up etc so I'd expect that they would only need to hit 500k insiders on day 1 which is easy enough to do with the right CDN partners.

However I think Insiders will get it before the 29th to test the delivery system.
I think we have already gotten it.

Hello there! I work in ESET and I can confirm that the latest versions of our products for home and businesses are compatible with Windows 10. With ESET, all upgrades to the newest versions are free, so you don’t have to worry about any additional payments.

    For home
ESET Smart Security and ESET NOD32 Antivirus are compatible from Version 7. We recommend to upgrade our security software to latest version before moving to Windows 10.

    For business:
When upgrading endpoints in your business to Windows 10, please make sure that you have installed the latest builds of versions 5 or 6 and check that your virus signature database and modules are up to date. If you already have Windows 10-compatible versions, feel free to upgrade – all settings and license credentials will work after the migration.

Has the issue of ESET causing 0x124 BSODs been resolved?
