+1... The GUID stands for Global Unique Identifier, a unique reference number used as an identifier in computer software. In this case, it's probably similar/same to registration key. It remains to be seen, if the GUIDs posted in this thread could be abused but I would not take a chance...

Last night I did a clean install of 7 SP1 on an ssd in anticipation
For any body interested sp1 25 minutes
108 updates 1 hour.
mother board drivers 30 minutes ,(i couldn't find the dvd so went on line)
11 further updates today after activation 25 minutes
Installed Office and some other utils I use 30 mins
Say 2 hours 50 now cloned and waiting.
checked my w10 insider on a different disk (dual bios boot)
and regedit shows th1
