This is my Office version and build:

Interesting enough, I have a Windows 10 tablet just upgraded to 16179, all office apps including PowerPoint working perfectly, but on this laptop PowerPoint simply cannot do any graphics in any build after 15063.

Everything else works perfectly, all other Office desktop apps, Windows, everything, it's just PowerPoint in any 16xxx build not being able to show any graphics, only empty slides.
Sounds to me this issue is yet again related to the graphics subsystem. I could be wrong though. I know you have Intel/Radeon hybrid graphics on your laptop so this error makes sense to me.

    No, it's Intel / nVidia.

OK I edited it out Wyonna. Now you need to delete or modify your reply. I guess my frustration just came through. Looks like I will get an ISO created in a VM. Sooner or later it will be time for a clean install.

All same, hybrid is hybrid, but if it's nVidia even bigger chance for something being wrong.

Are you certain you did not accidentally change sorting order for enabled/disabled column? You can restore defaults by, clicking on name column.
I don't think so, but I ran a 'disable auto arrange' .bat file, I think it did a number on Task Manager as well!

Anyone notice that disabled Startup items in Task Manager are all grouped at the bottom of the list now, instead of mixed together?
    (Or am I hallucinating again!?)
