Hi Insiders,

We have a few updates and improvements with this latest version of Feedback Hub which we are excited to share with you and have you try out!

Share screenshots and images to Feedback Hub easily using the new share target flow

With this app release Feedback Hub is now available as a windows share target for picture file types (png, jpeg, and jpg). This means that you can now easily and quickly share images with your annotations to Feedback Hub and add feedback to it.

You can share images to Feedback Hub using any app that can share photos (e.g. Photos, File explorer, Screen Sketch etc.).

For example, if you have a touch or pen enabled windows device you could use Windows Ink Space -> Screen sketch to annotate your screenshot and point to the problem or suggestion you are reporting. You can then use the share feature right from Screen sketch and choose Feedback Hub as share target:



This will open a Feedback Hub window right in the share target pane and you can directly submit feedback from there without having to open Feedback Hub separately. Your screenshot will get attached to the feedback:





We hope this provides you another way, in addition to what already exists, for sharing your feedback and screenshots quickly and with less friction :)

App notifications for announcements and quests to keep you up to date

It will now be easier for you to keep up to date on new announcements and quests. In the coming days you may start getting app notifications for new announcements and quests when they are published. This will help keep you informed on the new exciting updates.

You can easily turn these notifications off by going to Feedback Hub app -> Settings -> Notifications:



The notifications can be received on older Feedback Hub versions as well, but the notification settings are available with 1.1703.971.0 or higher.

Changes made in Announcements and Quests layout to fix scrolling issues

We also made changes to our announcement and quests layout to fix the scrolling issues many of you have noticed and reported. One Collection representation your feedback is: https://aka.ms/akqmh5

With the changes in this app version, scrolling with touchpad or mouse scroll will simply work as expected :)

Better search results for searching URLs in Feedback Hub

We recently made a change to our service to improve the way search results are shown for URLs when providing feedback on Edge related items.

For example, previously if you searched a URL, the search results had to be an exact match. For example, "outlook.com" would not match with "outlook" or "outlook.live.com". However with the changes in search "outlook.com" will match "outlook" in addition to "outlook.com":



We hope with these improvements it makes it easier for you to find similar results and upvote the ones that match your feedback. These search improvements are available to all versions of Feedback Hub.
