The problem is for one Windows as a rule generally cannot see or create a second partition with the Disk Management tool while you may or may not be able to with the Disk Part command line option. The problem afterwards however still seeing the secondary while booted in Windows. Windows will typically want to reformat the drive when going to try creating it. You may want to look over an old thread about this. Is it possible to create multiple partitions on a USB flash drive? - - Windows 10 Forums
AGREED! I still have an older version of Acronis onhand to make the periodic backup image which is compressed further note the built-in Windows option as far as how drive space is taken up. In fact on the second desktop I always keep a long term image in order to test a new build in the event I decide it won't work out. On the main I did have a second taskbar seen on the secondary which disappeared with this latest build and so far no way to get it back with a rollback.
