Does not appear to be much change in this flight, although seems reliable.
Being habitual have noted ...All Settings in Action Center for some reason or other has been moved away from top right in the block....Hardly an earth shattering modification.
Saw that immediately after reboot yesterday. Went looking for a fix, and found the solution below independently - just dragged and dropped it back where it used to be.

The 10th try it finally upgraded. About 10 hours of my life. From what I can see there is not much different.
All right Josey. Glad for you. I am a glutton for punishment, I suppose, as I am trying on my desktop again. Maybe they worked through the night and got some of the buggy install issues resolved at MS and things will go well.

I was just going to try that, Magilla. Laptop is set up and charging for a try in the near future. Then I'll grab an ISO from it and try this one . . . again.
@Wynona, did you succeed this time? I am trying again on my desktop.

Oh my God, the desktop actually Is on 16170!!!
And, it seems everything is intact and in the correct place---taskbar removed Internet explorer icon and just left edge.

Having the same problems installing. Win Update saw 16170 and MS Malicious Spyware Removal Tool, downloaded and installed the tool and failed at 80% to install the update. I cleaned the Widow update cache and deleted HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\Auto Update\RequestedAppCategories\8b24b027-1dee-babb-9a95-3517dfb9c552. I then rebooted nd it looked like it was going to install but I received a "Some update files are missing or have problems. We'll try to download the update again later.
    Error code: (0x80070003)"

I will now try the retry key an see what happens.

    WEK

I used the Retry Key and the update completed to Version 1703 Build 16170.1000. Took about 35 minutes. Go figure.

    Not installing...

Problems installing here too: 80% -> preparing to install updates -> Some updates were cancelled. We'll keep trying in case new updates become available.

Have they 'pulled' the update, I wonder?

No MS haven't pulled the update. Read the first post in this thread and you will see Microsoft know about this issue.

Unfortunately they point to a 'fix' that doesn't work for some.
I tried it and didn't have any luck.

What I had to do was grab a copy of the ISO from a good source I use and it's all installed.

I'm not sure what the issue is and so far my only idea is not fully thought out and if/when I do I'll share my thoughts.

But for now.. more guitar practice and play time with kitty,, Mr Nibs.

    They call me MR Nibs:

I thought you might want to try this again. I turned off computer over night and this morning turned it back on and went to Insider drive and fired it up and - voila - it worked. After 10 tries yesterday afternoon/evening with failures, it took this morning. I think MS might have done some work on the install setup because it did work, at least for me. Josey also able to get install this morning after multiple tries yesterday.

I tried it first thing and it failed again so I removed that key and it kept failing but finally worked.
