Just updated to the Creators update through update assistant link in Windows update. Took about an hour or so. So far so good.
The "medium" settings icon in start menu when placed on right is missing the word "settings".
The settings now puts "update and security" on the bottom and makes it a little harder to see all the settings choices at once unless you go full screen.
Defender now shows an exclamation mark in the defender icon in the task bar if you keep cloud based protection and automatic sample submission off.
A manual check for Win defender definition updates through win defender results in error code 214746259 unspecified error - windows update offers no definition update.
Okay after a restart the error went away.

You all are having way too much fun with this, I am so tempted but I really have to chicken out and wait till the 11th. Seriously this is a great thread and your efforts are certainly appreciated.
I'm going to pass this and probably April 11 - my personal situation with health problems is more than enough for me to deal with now, so will let you folks have all the fun. Hope by the time I can install it, all problems have been worked out.
I highly doubt there would be any "new UEFI-related pre-requirements in CU version". There's no reason for it unless the current version of 10 was having issues, which it doesn't.
That sounds like there's something in your UEFI setting Windows doesn't like. Perhaps you've set (enabled) something after your initial 10 install that the update is now complaining about. Perhaps a driver issue related to a UEFI setting.
And all versions of Windows 10 (and Windows 8) support UEFI so that wouldn't be an issue. Why the upgrade assistant is telling you UEFI isn't supported is a mystery. Perhaps you could post a screenshot of the actual message?
Anyway there's nothing in the Creators update to indicate any "Pre-UEFI requirements". If there was MS would have said so since most machines (including all 3 of mine) running 10 are installed through UEFI. This info would obviously need to be stated otherwise most wouldn't be able to install with UEFI.
Good luck.
Okay it is not me.

Now I realize why the font look better on the other two PC's they actually don't one of them have a cruddy TN Panel and the other a old MVA panel. Proof is if I take a screenshot from one of them and send to to my PC. I have a great IPS panel and I notice it much more.
