I have a fuzzy font issue on some dialog box windows. I reran the Clear type tuner which is much harder find now you have to go into control panel fonts. I reinstalled my video driver Intel HD 4600. I cleared the font cache. Ran the useless sfc /scan now no problems found. Nothing worked. Looked online and all I found were going into DPI setting in the shortcuts menu but the shortcuts dialog box menu has fuzzy fonts too.

Here is the best example I can find.
All the fonts look fine and look the same in the picture viewed on my screen.

Here is my display settings (make sure you have your resolution set for your monitor)

BTW just type cleartype in the search box to quickly get to the cleartype tuning page

Tried it nothing works. Nothing. I ran the clear type tuner a dozen times already nothing works. I am doing a reset. Be back soon if it works or not.

LibreOffice looks fine to me on my updated install. I didn't upgrade L/O to the latest version though.

Two more things came to light for me,

1/ After having to fully clean and purge both IE and Edge caches (full clean ups) to resolve an odd site access issue that the upgrade caused, I found that TenForums has a slightly different look. Text is softer and more rounded, colours slightly less saturated. Switching to SevenForums shows the 'old' look I was used to.

2/ And no surprises here, the upgrade has deleted my old Vista/W7 games folder and not carried it forward.

Reddice, the fonts appear clear and normal on my monitor. So I am sorry that I cannot help you.

Well spotted, just checked, UK here and showing the date in MM/DD/YY seems to be OK everywhere else.
    Hi there
    @paulsalter

I Downloaded and installed from Iceland -- still showing that Half Assed US stupid date system and no way to change it -- I don't care if it is YY/MM/DD or DD/MM/YY but who on earth thought of MM/DD/YY which can lead to all sorts of confusion and isn't even sensible when doing a sort.

    I'm using W10 GB version too !!!!.

US date system is only valid for US - surely other regions should be able to select their own formats -- especially as everything else works OK !!!!

I suppose it's whether people in speech say for example 5 Apr 2017 or Apr 5 2017 -- YMMV.

    Cheers

Did a factory reset and the fonts are still fuzzy. It is my machine as my other laptop the fonts are fine. There has to be a fix for this but since I am alone I now have to get eyestrain thanks to stupid Windows 10 update.

By factory reset, do you mean actually a factory reset for the computer make? Or did you restore the previous version of windows?

Tried doing an ISO clean installation on a computer, already set up with "Insider Creator Preview", my advice don't.

The resulting O/S was a complete mishmash, ie- language, Cortana etc.....perhaps an M$ way of protecting against pirating?

What was really surprising was backtracking to my Insider Creator preview only took 3 or 4 minutes, then had to go through rigorous double identity checking to confirm I was bona fida with M$, Outlook and Skype.
