If you open the new Windows Defender Security Centre, on the home screen do you see the correct date formats?
Mine is showing the US format of MM/DD/YY and it should be DD/MM/YY

Well spotted, just checked, UK here and showing the date in MM/DD/YY seems to be OK everywhere else.

Good. DD/MM/YY drives me nuts. I live in the US and I always liked MM/DD/YY. If you are going to do it with the day first at least spell out the month.

The point is it should use what you have windows set at, not just give everyone the US format

So default in the US is MM/DD/YY and default in the UK is DD/MM/YY and similar for other countries
It should not be set to MM/DD/YY for everyone

Agreed. Being British I want to see DD/MM/YY. It's what we are used to and it should consistently display across the OS based on what the user set it as. I've not updated yet as I will wait for it be pushed through Windows Update on the 11th. I'm guessing that might be a slightly higher version number than what comes through here. Maybe, maybe not but don't fancy doing two large updates a few days apart. Although it sounds like the feedback is positive for the most part here, so am hoping for a trouble free install! Very disappointed that they haven't learned and still switch off 'System Restore' by default. I would of thought it should be on by default or at the very least respect the user's previous choice. I think it's a good tool and it has sorted me out on a few occasions in the past. Not sure what MS was thinking here.

Just being me (no matter the nationality) I want dd.MM.yyyy and for long dates dddd, MMMM d, yyyy

For time HH:mm and long time HH:mm:ss.

Windows defaults to H.mm for Finnish settings, and I hate that dot instead of colon. Makes no sense for a digital clock in the taskbar, though in written text it should use the dot, that is the Finnish standard.

For full time I want yyyy.MM.dd HH:mm:ss

Now I just updated LibreOffice and it has fuzzy fonts giving me a headache. Any fix otherwise I am doing a clean install.
