All my Windows apps have stopped working , When i open MAil for instance it opens for 2 seconds and then closes, this happens for all apps , cant use any , and also the restore was turned off so cant go back . can anyone please help as im at a loss .
Just setup my old WiFi (amped/wireless) adapter and now I have 5Ghz reception........signal was just to weak without the extender....at least I now know it was on my end and not the fault of this update.....Thanks for stimulating my mind and getting me off my old fast ass to figure it out.....LOL

I am truly amazed - went ahead and installed using Update Assistant and no problems have surfaced yet - 1 hour after installation. So relieved.
Has anybody tried updating iTunes after upgrading? One of the last major updates messed with the registry entry for the location of the iTunes msi so the installer for the new version couldn't uninstall the previous version. Aparrently it ended up being located in the Windows.old folder but the registry never got updated. The solution was to uninstall iTunes before upgrading and then reinstall after upgrading. Just wondering if I need to do that proactively.
Finally, I overcame the "stuck at 32%" problem by unplugging everything from my laptop: external USB keyboard/mouse and HDMI monitor.
I never had to unplug them to install updates from Microsoft, including upgrading from Win8.1 to Win10.
