Had to return to previous version of Windows 10 (Anniversary Version) - MS Office would not activate in this update. Reinstalled Office 5 times and still would not activate. It is on the account webpage but couldn't be activated. SAAAAD! Interestingly enough, it did activate on my laptop and on my second laptop. Don't know what the problem is. On feedback hub, I noted several other people are having similar problems with Office activation.

Did you check to see if Windows is activated?

Yes was activated and yes, I could go to account page and yes, the licensed product was present. As I said, this happened on this computer and not on my other two laptop computers. Their versions of Office were activated.

I have now gone back to previous (Windows Anniversary) version, MS Office works flawlessly. I reinstalled the update via windows download assistant and the same thing happens with my MS Office. Cannot be used, cannot install license key. Asked to repair install of Office, have done twice and still, no dice! I got this today and all it has done is destroy my sound, not happy.

I had to reinstall my sound because this update removed it completely????
One other thing, the CONTROL PANEL has gone and I now have Windows
defender in the task bar. I just hope it doesn't interfere with Avast like it is
    doing with Malwarebytes.

I returned to Windows anniversary edition for second time today. Doesn't like Microsoft office for some reason. You might restore your system to restore your sound system. As I indicated in earlier post, my two laptops upgraded and Microsoft office worked on both of them.

I fixed the sound issue and have not had any issues with Office 2010, must be lucky?

This is something of a "me too" post, but I just downloaded the .ISO using the latest version of the Media Creation Too.

I used the "dism" command line utility to check. I received 15063 (X64). It's significantly smaller than the 15063 .ISO that I downloaded previously (3.55GB vs. 4.23GB).
I've run it as an upgrade over 1607.

    The installed version is 15063.13.

    Lookin' good.

This was a bit of a nightmare install and I have a recommendation about Shadow Defender, a light virtualization program. Had Creators Update clean installed once and everything appeared fine. I began installing programs and then after one particular reboot it came up first with the message that says "To stop disk repair press any key"; so pressed a key and then a screen saying something about needing to repair Windows popped up with various options to repair or reset, etc. Trouble was, the options given would not work; computer would still come up after reboot with needing to repair. Clean installed a second time. Again everything fine then I installed Shadow Defender. After clicking Yes to reboot I'm back at needing to repair Windows. At least then I knew what the problem was. My recommendation for now is if you have Shadow Defender do not install it to Creators Update as it was the culprit both times on this box. I'm going to send an email to SD support tomorrow and we'll see if it can be replicated elsewhere but for now that program is verboten on this computer.

It appears that another light virtualization program, Sandboxie, is also broken as I cannot get it to work with IE, Edge, or Vivaldi.
