Thank you, Edwin, let's take them one by one :
Yes, you are right and it is a pitty because in my monitors text at 100% displays too minuscule... My monitors are shown in my System Specs. What monitor(s) do you have?
I have just tried it : I changed all of them to "12" and then hit "Apply". It does NOT work. I've even signed out and then right back in. The "Menus" still display as size 9, or in any case smaller than the rest. Here is a screenshot of a few menus (programs) after setting my monitors at 100% (recommended) Zoom, and then setting everything at "12" and hitting Apply :
Observe the odd disproportionality in text size between the the Title bar(s) and the text written inside. For example, in my GPU's properties panel look how bigger the title bar text is than the rest. In Word 2016 the same! The Event viewer, as well as the Device Manager, shows that there is no blurriness anymore, so yes this setting cures the text blurriness in these, and all the other, Windows Components but the text is weirdly smaller.
Also, this setting has no effect on the Start Menu items or in the Mail app, for example.
What a mess this setting is...
Okay, so the live tile of the Mail app does not work on your desktop either? Okay. The only tiles that work for me are the Weather tile, Money and News. I have not set any other.
Nope, it does not work on your system either, as it seems... You've posted later another post that 24h time format works on your system but I was referring to the Logon screen. So, when you Sign out what time format do you see on your Logon screen? Do you see a 24h time format on your logon screen IF that's how you've set time format in your system? Or do you see a 12h format with AM or PM if you have a 12h time format on your system? I hope so but I don't think so....
