Oh .. and ... I ALWAYS do clean installs .... these are beta builds .... bugs travel if you don't start clean ... I learned that lesson when I beta tested windows 2000.

Well there's your problem ... NEVER intall a beta of anything on a primary or daily use machine.
Always make sure its a spare machine or set up your primary machine as a dual boot with each OS having its own drive.
I burned through 3 hard drives in the 9 month beta process for win2K

64 bit OS yet it says only 3.97GB of the 8GB of RAM is available.

I think most people here dont bother with Chinese leaked versions, so you wont get many replies to that question..
Well, there was news earlier that 10176 may be the first RTM.
Hopefully we'll get a taste to kick the tires but if not, I can wait for the 29th.
