    That's your opinion and not mine. I don't like it and I never will.

    What is it with all this blind hatred for anything new in Windows, Linux is absolutely chock a block with apps, I don't hear people complaining about them.
    When you people buy a car do you rip out the sound system, the air conditioner, the windscreen wipers, the indicators, the electric windows, the automatic door locks.
    When I buy a car I look for one that has the options I want or I'll order one that does.

    It'd be nice to be able to hide the icons that you don't want cluttering the All Apps Menu or, be able to Pin to the Start List, (the front Start Menu), the Apps you do use.

    ... Or, you could uninstall the packages you don't want with PowerShell.

    There are basic apps and there are bloat apps.
    Like when you buy a car, there is a basic package and an upgrade package.
    We should only get what we need. Nothing more. Nothing less.

    You musnt buy too many cars, most now come with all the bells and whistles, just like a new home now comes with turf, fencing, clothes driers, washing machines etc.

    If we were to get just get what we need, we should still be using DOS. I remember all the outraged people when Windows first came out, it was like Windows 8 and Metro Apps, I will never use Windows 8, I will never use Metro Apps, some things never change.

    Ah.. the apps are not created by MS and they have nothing to do with the support and maintenance. It's up to the people who wrote the apps to test it with Win10 not MS.

    Any more complaints??
    Your response is so, not even on point
    Regardless of whether the app is supported or not does not mean it never existed, and so, it should still show up in my store library.
    two, I can think of offhand are;
    Mediabrowser app I purchased for 8.1 but works on 10, used to show up now it doesn't
    OutcoldPlayer was an app to play your Google music (it is no longer supported because of Google changes), but, I still purchased it and it should show as a purchase even though it is no longer exists
    ...there are others

    Since you asked, yes a lot more...
    Why can't you view your personal apps in alphabetical order as opposed to date acquired.
    Next why don't they display which are/were purchased and not purchased
    why can't you see which apps are on which devices any longer, has that policy changed?
    Why do some purchased apps not show up and others do?

    off point:
    why do some people think some items listed here are not legitimate concerns?
    and why do some people try to provoke others into meaningless debates?

    ... the list goes on, but those are for discussions in a different post

    Thanks for asking

    @HippsieGypsie
    thank you for the diagram with the "Show All" button, hopefully that will help others, but my concerns were for things that simply did not show at all.

    At least you can uninstall. You should see the crap on my iPhone, and Apple won't let you uninstall.
    I can't uninstall them all; some can only be removed from the start page. But since I use the old desktop with my old program icons on it, I rarely see all this new rubbish.

    Ok people of topic(a wee bit) but Now I'll drop the bomb:

    I can deal with a few Microsoft apps, even a few MSN apps(the ones getting nuked), BUT what I can't deal with are the junk App Store apps that come with a new PC from OEM. They are just as bad, if not worse, then the other Crapware. When I clean install there is no crapware, but if I use the same Microsoft account, the uninstalled apps still show up(even when never used just uninstalled) in store.
