If running 15063.11 and also Malwarebytes Pro with a slow APU/CPU then in Malwarebyte's settings consider changing back to ' Let Malwarebytes apply the best Windows Action Centre settings based on your system (recommended)'. Default settings. Otherwise will conflict with Defender and create a high CPU/APU usage.
Had to change to 'Never register Malwarebytes....' on another preview build as Mbts knocked out Defender.
Had task manager running when update offered, on selecting rebooting, screen showed task manager was stopping restart but I chose restart anyway. Loging in again and task manager was still running.
SFC /scannow, found no problem,
But
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
even try with source
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /source:wim:F:\sources\install.wim:1 /limitaccess
still having error code, source not be found.
Hey guys,
I'm getting windows defender definition update failed, on 4 systems, but if you go through defender itself it says its up to date. Is anyone else seeing this?
