It never will, you have to be already on 15063 to have any use for that ring. All they get are early updates not builds.

Interesting; I guess I'll stop waiting now for 15063 to be offered while I'm set on Release Preview :)

"For the those of you who are eager to get the Creators Update right away, you will be able to initiate the update manually, starting on April 5^th, via Update Assistant. This option is intended for advanced users on devices running a licensed version of Windows 10."

Yep, just stumbled upon this news on Reddit. That's pretty nice. Only a few more days.

Does this mean only those who purchased a win 10 license will be able to upgrade on the 5th. Not those who upgraded from 7/8 for free?

It does not say running a version of Windows 10 that was purchaseb, but rather running a licensed version of Windows 10. Free upgrades certainly count.

I think though that this will do a normal update of the system same as Windows Update installing updates. If so then I'm waiting for April 11th to get the Media Creation Tool so I can do a clean install.
