LeCube, if "the truth" was meant for me, I'd already read it - and that's why I'm confused. Probably clear to 99% of the world, but not to me.

Do you have a link that verifies that? My understanding is that anyone who has a reservation will start receiving upgrades on the 29th.

Starting on July 29, we will start rolling out Windows 10 to our Windows Insiders. From there, we will start notifying reserved systems in waves, slowly scaling up after July 29th. Each day of the roll-out, we will listen, learn and update the experience for all Windows 10 users.

Does that mean Insiders on 7/8.1 for upgrade or just Insiders on the Preview

Good question.. it would be nice if insiders who are currently using WIn8.1/Win7 get the upgrade starting on the 29th. Not sure..

no hard feelings, I just have found some updates about the fact that no build were pushed into windows update this last hours.
i was replying to this post from Pendaws:

Microsoft suspends availability of Windows 10 builds

    This is interesting?

    No more builds

If you haven't already downloaded Windows 10 build 10162 or 10166, you're now too late. Microsoft has suspended the availability of these two builds -- previously available on the Slow and Fast rings respectively -- in the run up to the big launch day in a couple of weeks' time.

As we edge closer and closer to the RTM build of Windows 10, Microsoft is now asking Windows Insiders to stick with the build they currently have installed for the time being. Anyone who hasn’t upgraded to these latest preview builds is out of luck. As well as disabling upgrading through Windows Update, Microsoft is also suspending ISOs and activation.

I am soooo ready for the final build! I hope that the issues will be corrected and will overwrite the 'bugs' and 'glitches' that are present. I did a clean install on 10162 but installed 10166 over the 62 build. On my other computer that I am trying out Windows 10, a laptop, I did a clean install of 10166 because of multiple issues with 10162 on that computer and it looks really good and is fully functional.
