Went there, done that and still nothing . It recognized me and my account and welcomed me back. Restarted with sign in and no joy.

TYVM! Been wondering how to take care of that!

    Hi there

It's already out in the wild again for those who can't get it by any other method.

(WhiteDeath version -- his stuff has been OK in the past so probably good on a VM)

Note it's US not GB version --but doesn't really make any difference as far as I can see.

    Cheers

I very strongly advice against these torrents. See the 18 second video below for the reason.

    Hi there

Normally agree - but if you don't get it for some reason then you can always test in a VM. The previous WD builds have always been OK until I ca n get the Official builds. I think the GB version isn't ready yet via the standard insider update.

In any case it's better to use MAGNET LINKS rather than download and execute the actual torrent file -- that way you get the direct stuff from the trackers.

Some AV software isn't reliable in any case -- Windows defender is probably suficcient. I've been using these ever since early builds of W7 !! and never had viruses etc. You just need to take sensible precautions and test properly either on a VM or on an isolated machine.

    Cheers

Nothing wrong with torrents. Just make sure you use magnet links or the actually torrent file. Be smart %=

    I agree Kari.

Torrent downloading is not for non-geeks. That's clearly the wrong button to click. :)
Just like what jimbo said, magnet is always the way to go and I do it with my NAS downloader which is basically a Linux environment and the download goes to an isolated external hard drive. So there is very little chance of things getting installed on my PC.

    Great demonstration!

When analyzing the sample, 75 files in 70 downloads were found by ClamAV to be infected,
meaning 18.5% of all downloads contained malware. Most malware appeared more than once
