OK, guys, back to my PC.

This is the other issue I referred to a couple of pages ago: (I'm quoting myself )

I've already sent the feedback through the appropriate channels, but I wanted to know if somebody else has bumped into this of if you can reproduce it.
    Thanks!
    Cheers!

A long time ago and recently checked again they are the latest ones avail as well as the video driver and AMD Catalyst Utility
W 10 is just (slower) than Win 7 x64 on Pass Mark although it feels faster in browesers /documents /media players etc, and drawing l (3500 large photo icons ) as fast as you can wheel scroll down to the biottom of the open folder .

It almost makes me think they did something very clever with HDD and memory cashing and ofc the video stack ?

OTOH on multiple file enumeration Win 10 (feels slower) than win 7 x64 which is ofc different from drawing photo Icons although I havent timed that so ................

Am I the only one here who has not found any bugs to report?

No, I’m right there with ya. My system is running perfectly.

I tell you, I just don't understand why some issues are such a showstopper for some people... For instance ,the error on shutdown bug that was in earlier builds was cosmetic, and didn't cause any major problems.. yet people were just adamant about having it fixed and were upset over each new build where it wasn't.... despite the fact it literally affected NOTHING.
it's NOT literally nothing, it IS time off of the restart. who wants to sit there and wait for the computer to determine if it should shut down or not, and then after it figures it out, ask you if that is what you want it to do, when you have obviously already hit shut down, or restart???? of course it's what you want to do. some of us want the os to stop delaying instructions which we have already made clear. it's m$ assuming every single person who uses their os is an idiot. so now we have to go manipulate the registry, to get it to do what it should be doing in the first place.

it's not the build, it's something in your setup or machine, as they are working perfectly well for me, and a few others who have reported them working. try to delete them and reinstall.

Maybe Pass Mark needs updating and it doesn't show accurate values on Windows 10? I'm asking without knowing because I don't use it

...speaking of which, for anyone who is getting delays when trying to restart or shut down, let me know if you want a fix (if you haven't already found one) and i will post them on here, how to make your computer shut down more quickly, and not get hung up on an app or two not closing fast enough.

Thats posible but I'm not thinking that because Win 10 is still NT under the hood so I think 7 vs 10 I/O throughput testing should be valid either way maybe a software developer or someone like that here can elaborate on that .

The other thing is how about compiling and verifying code and heavy lifting throughput in general ouside of DX 12 gaming or gaming as in general opposed to 7 x64 on the same configuration and NTFS metal drive whereas a SS drive and DDR4 will ofc narrow the gap considerably and *actually that may be something factored and offset somewhat by clever hdd and memorty cashing* and unspoken outside of M.S. or not ??.

Only during both sometinmes which isn't at all unusual or (usually ) prolonged here but starting the process either way is normal most of the time . OTOH a fix couldn't hurt for occasional prolonged shut down and start processing can't hurt either as long as it doesent compramise data protection .

    Is that app or program?
