That's just it, if you're not paying close attention, then it would seem so. But if you open it, close it, open it, etc.. several times in a row, you can see that it slowly "creeps" across the screen.

It is in fact remembering it's size and location, but there's something in the startup that nudges it a few pixels down and to the right of the last position it closed in every time.
As you seem to know the functionality of my Windows 10 PC better than me and are telling I am not paying close attention to it, could you please tell me how long / how many times I have to repeat this to get Explorer not to remember it's size and place?

I dislike these "on my PC it behaves like this, therefore it is like that on every PC" explanations.

You ain't taxing it then ...☻ I'll let you all know when I test the hdd and memory I/O throughput and see if they got it back to Win 7 x64 /8.1 levels

OTOH I havent found any bugs in 10166 aside from the usual lame unified web/local task bar search ......give me a few minutes

The word "crash" does not tell anyone what happens. Describe what happens please,

I been using windows 10 test builds for the daily driver here on this experimental/hobby /daily driver box since build 10029 in Feb.
Some builds worked OK and some didn't (like barley at all ) and none are perfect yet . While they been getting a lot beter (latley) I haven't taxed this new biuld yet but I will find something wrong not to worry ☻

First thing I do when changing versions or drivers is to run few test and benchmark. Passmark Performance test didn't find any difference or at least no bigger difference than statistical error from 8.1 on same computer with dual boot. Graphic benchmark may not be accurate because of different drivers for GPU but show 10162 and 10166 have slight edge over 8.1.

Nothing new it might level out some or you may have to re install the offending apps sometimes you have to remove them with Windows powershell commands let me know if need the syntax for the E mail app the store should uninstall /re install without power shell .

Even when the E mail app is working at it's best it can close without wqrnibng now and then like any UI app don't ditch your browser E mail accts or depend on Edge ☻☻☻
