Confirmed by the (now updated) The Verge article...
Update: 18 hours after the ISOs appeared on Microsoft's servers, it seems they've now been pulled, returning 404 errors when trying to download.
I'm guessing it was pulled because of all the unauthorized access and articles pointing to it saying it was released. We weren't meant to download it yet.
Or they realized they messed something up, like say Silverlight, which prevents my second PC to update the latest update, for some reason the MS update messed up the update of the security update, for Silverlight, which in turn prevents me from updating, 1. stall at 12% 2. stall 75% 3. stall 10% 4.stall 11%.
i am unable to update anything because of the messed up silverlight security update keeps failing every other update, i tried to dl silverlight from MS then it ask for the Microsoft Silverlight install 1, have no idea where the heck that is, and for some reason it using my Game HDD to unpack silverlight and its not even on that that HDD i keep all my dl on another HDD, but it unpacks silverlight to my Game HDD not my C: or my D: "for dl" and i have not changed anything in regards to where to unpack or install, it made that decision on its own, what memory's this brings back i had the same fight with the anniversary update, so why should the creator update be any different People will rave from release until Christmas what fun "not" this will be
Thank you
The usual reason for this is just to fine tune Update delivery - so that servers can satisfy expected demand etc., or to take pressure off servers by offering an alternative source for downloads.
Download Windows 10 Insider Preview Advanced
has been back online this morning - I downloaded ISOs for 64-bit, and 32-bit Pro and Home editions within the last hour.
There's also latest Windows Update Assistant option.
