The time clock issue is very widespread - others talking about it - no common theme.

It seems all the time issues are related to time.windows.com not wrking according to posts on other sites.

Sun is shining and +12 °C, no snow... maybe I go swimming!?
Gosh 12 deg C and going swimming - boy you Finns are tough even by standards of guys who go swimming in Aberdeen. How would you cope with 35 deg C water in Middle East?!

We Finns are also very accustomed to the extreme summer temperatures exceeding 20°C (68°F). Unbelievable, I know.

In fact, where I am coming from the average temperature last summer was 22°C (71.6°F).

It was a hot Tuesday afternoon!

Probably a non-issue now, but I had an issue with time (on a dual boot).. turned out to be Ubuntu set the bios clock to it's standard UTC and Windows used that as local.

Interesting how this time sync is continuing. You'd think it would have been solved ever since I pointed it out probably (I'd need to check) a year or so ago. I have never had a problem syncing Windows Servers. It's the first thing setup in many computers. And yes having a Windows/Linux dual boot setup can lead to difficulties as they both want to use and set the BIOS clock. If people are having problems which are highly disruptive there are a lot of freeware and shareware programs out that sync the BIOS clock with services like NIST.

After a good night sleep and listening to jazz on Spotify I figured why not try this??

    1. I have installed Linux subsystem for Windows (Ubuntu Bash on Windows). I run X programs using the admirable Xming program and so I have access to all the Ubuntu programs using synaptic. So installed the remote desktop program remiminaI found last night and thought I bet I can login to the server using this. Voila! This is a screenshot of my desktop remotly running Windows 10 in a Virtualbox VM on the server. Louis Armstrong singing "What a wonderful world" in my headphones. Nerds rule.
