When I try to delete the Chrome key get the message "Cannot delete Google. Error while deleting key." I did a Reset with same result.
Your Registry must be corrupted. Create a new user account and see if the registry key is still there, if it is try to delete it. If all works great, continue setting up your new account and when done, remove the old account.

There are standalone cumulative updaters, some from MS some from 3rd parties. But basically Windows 7 is a lost cause - except on my wife's computer and an increasing (according to Betanews) market share of close to 50%. By comparison Windows 10 is now at 25% and slightly decreasing. I'll bet that most of M$ manpower will focus on marketing for the next month. If we get an rs3 preview build by the end of the month I'll be happy. Anybody at MS wish to dish here:)

    Annoyances

Forgot to mention that it shortened my username to 6 characters. Not the account I'm logged in as. Haven't tried to change it using control panel.

When you create a new account, create it first as a local account and use whatever name you like.

Then you can change account to MS account keeping local account name.

Second time now, Windows clock showing wrong time. It's off minus one hour.

This screenshot was taken now, 10:55 my local time (normal time UTC+1, now summertime daylight saving time UTC+2). Automatic time zone on, automatic daylight saving on, time zone shown correctly:

Browsers are showing the correct time as in this screenshot, time stamp of this post is my correct CEST (Central European Summer Time), Windows showing -1 hour:

Only way to fix it is to sync time which although giving a timeout error sets Windows clock to show time correctly:

This doesn't explain a confirmed bug. I'm not doing a search at 5:20 AM but I'm sure many others have reported it. I just change the folder when I display it on my desktop. In the Control Panel the username is the correct Microsoft account name. Guess I'm lucky I got to keep 6 characters.

My issue is not Windows not applying summertime. It was applied but for wrong time zone.

When this happens, summertime is applied and Windows is off -1 hour. When I disable Adjust for daylight saving time automatically, Windows will be off -2 hours as if my base time zone UTC +1 (Western European Standard Time CET) would have been changed to UTC +0.

System is really confused because of this with some services and even apps complaining:

You have "Set Time Zone Automatically" enabled, if your network get routed to another switch, your detected location change. Thus your time is 1h off and could be even more depending on where you get routed. Location detection does not work properly using network location discovery. Only way to make sure your location is accurate is to install a GPS and only use that for location detection.

Yes, all Database and Cloud services that uses some form of syncing gets confused if time get screwed up. :-D

EDIT: Windows has detected my location as Turku (which is correct), Helsinki and even Copenhagen (which isn't even in the same country)
