This entry only shows if you have received the build from an OTA upgrade. If you performed an in place upgrade with and ISO via USB or mounting, those registry entries are not there.
This laptop was upgraded using an ISO I made from a Hyper-V VM upgrade files.

No, of course not. It's just one more indicator. With versions 1511 and 1607 the same happened, builds 10586 (1511) and 14393 (1607) being first to get retail OS status in registry.
Methinks a real sign (other than MS saying so) would be just updates.

Or you fire it up one morning and all you get is a nice, pleasant blue screen. :)

This is of course pure speculation, really unimportant and trivial speculation; the RTM build number will be what Microsoft decides, it being totally irrelevant and having none whatsoever affect in our Windows usage.

Interesting! Could that be related to my OneDrive issues last night?
Must be the attacks. Everything MS account related for me, has worked flawlessly since I updated password and added double authentication verification.
On another topic, again a strong indicator to make me believe 15063 will be the RTM is that Insider settings in registry are now showing this to be a retail OS. DWORD IsRetailOS = 1, whereas in all previous RS2 builds it has naturally been 0. First noticed it now when checking I'm ready for possible upgrade
I have exactly the same values as @Kari, except for the OwnerSID of course. Never checked what the previous builds had, so can't compare. Won't install an old build just because of the sake of checking a registry value. :) Soon enough we will know what build is the RTM one. If it's this or something else, we should not give a crap, or should we?

Well...interesting, I checked the two systems I performed in place upgrades on and neither has the entries, the two that received them through Insider did, Not sure it means anything, just is what it is.

I have to test this once again. I have one VM still in 15058, will upgrade it now from 15063 ISO. IsRetailOS is 0:

On my Synology NAS I get a lot of errors regarding OneDrive syncing too.
There are some serious issues @MS lately with several of their services!
EDIT: it's has been trying very hard to sync those few files for a while now, please check my used space..
Cheers
