Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 15063 for PC and Mobile Insider
-
Yes April 11th according to rumors... but it could very well be April 4th. As you can see last year there were 2 weeks from Fast ring to Release, but maybe they've learned from the past and give it a week more. We all know that there were some issues in the first days.

April 11th is what I've heard.
Patch Tuesday?

I got bitten by something interesting in this build, on my dual boot desktop (MSI Z87-G45 Gaming mobo). The install trashed my dual boot setup as usual, and as per prior practice, I used EasyBCD to add a new entry to the bcd info for the "other boot" partition. Something went wonky and EasyBCD was unable to fix the problem, which resulted in throwing me into the EFI shell each time I tried to reboot. Only by forcibly booting to the Macrium recovery UFD was I able to regain control over the bcd stuff using the built-in BCD repair capability. I had to disconnect all drives except the mSATA (with Insider Preview), repair its bcd, then do likewise for the Intel SSD that has the "other boot" image. After that, I was able to use EasyBCD to add the boot entry for "other boot" and all was well. Took about 3 hours to figure out and fix everything. I'm sure I did something dumb at the outset of these adventures that pitched me into the UEFI shell-out, but was ultimately able to find my way home. All's well that ends well, I guess, and now I have come to trust Macrium's BCD repair over that provided by EasyBCD. Lesson learned ... I think!

This is the procedure from one ring to another from last year for the Anniversary update 14393.
July 18, 2016 - Fast ring
July 20, 2016 - Slow ring
July 22, 2016 - First cumulative update - 14393.3
July 25, 2016 - Second cumulative update - 14393.5
July 28, 2016 - Release Preview ring
August 2, 2016 - Release ring
So you have an Idea where we are and what's next.
Followed by a large number of CUs to get the AU working properly. They may want do do more work before the release this time.

Hi,
Yeah, I think we have to work on that for next update of our Windows update-files to ISO creation tools. The ISO's we create are almost perfect, only small things missing that are not following MS standards to 100%. I am certain we can get the WinRE added to the boot.wim the proper way. That should not be that hard... ... ...I think... ;-)
It would also be nice if DISM would accept it as a valid source.
Cheers,

Dona said about a week for ISO's of 15063
-
yep, 1 more week will definitely help, but they need to know what to fix in first place...
will see... some bugs need wider audience to be discovered based on the past experience
