Probably been discussed before but, would it not be a better idea to have Settings Home items in a collapsible sidebar so you could jump to another area instead of having to click the back button or Home button and then go to another area?
And also..., have the Settings App open where you left off?

Yes opening things where and how you left it would be good idea everywhere including Start menu.

Did anyone notice on their Desktop PC, that Virtual Desktops do not work on multiple monitors anymore, only on the Main monitor?

Was wondering if anyone has done an in place update from 14393.969 to 15063 with the ISO, if so how did it go for you?
Just a thought but I would think doing a dual boot would be the better way to go, If I go back to the insider program this week that's the way I'm going to go.

I still need a stable OS for my recording work and the insider builds are still beta software. It's something I don't want to trust for my day to day work.

    YMMV

Understand your position on that completely. I have 3 other systems, a NUC, Desktop and tablet that I've been using as test systems. Have been doing MS provided upgrades OTA, In some cases with non insider systems I have performed in place upgrades with ISO USB's. But I have not gone from a current release build directly to an insider build and was curious as to what if any issues anyone has seen in performing that.

I'm still showing fast ring. I just checked for updates and got an update for Windows Defender, but that's all.
Have you tried to UNlink your account for the IP and then RElink your account again?

    Cheers

I have absolutely no problems, works extremely well on my three display system (laptop + external display through HDMI + external display through Miracast casting)-

Always a good plan to do this (and make regular image backups - even of main OS - you can never predict if Insider version could interact with main OS in unexpected ways - if you do not want that risk - use a VM)

Stability is all about timing - the current Insider version 15063 is either the actual release or so close to it that it barely qualifies as Beta anymore and is quite stable as far as it can be.

The general development pattern seems to be (of course, this is not set in tablets of stone - bugs can bit up the rear at any time/ any phase):-

    a) first few builds after a new release are largely reconfiguration builds i.e. some restructuring is needed to bring in new features - stability questionable as major under the hood stuff can be going on.

    b) then new features are released and tested, and fixed - generally stable for existing stuff, but new stuff can still be buggy.

    c) finally, as it gets closer to next release, no new major features added (some minor refinement may continue), and bugs "bashed" - generally fairly stable

    d) very close to release, bugs only fixed - almost as stable as release would be expected to be.

At the moment we are in phase D.

Okay, I was partially mistaken; it does work, except, while in 'Task View', I have to manually invoke thumbnail view on monitors 2 and 3!
