Read the release notes for 15061 and apply the registry fix and try again.

EDIT: ALWAYS READ RELEASE NOTES, before updating. Latest release notes has the same reg fix mentioned.

There are reasons why those release notes are posted. I always read through what's new, what's fixed and known issues...just in case. Even before hitting check for updates. Has saved me from so many headaches.

    Here's a new one...

    After a clean install:

...nothing in the release notes for this one, at least none that I can find.

    [EDIT]

This is the same after updating and rebooting.

    [EDIT_2]

Next day: Checked for updates; installed Defender definition; nasty notice disappeared!
An updated Defender definition file yesterday did not have this affect. Must have been a bigger, better, stronger
    definition file today

There is a fix for that in the first post.

Edit: I see someone else pointed you to it.

    Deej.
What did you use for the clean install?
Type winver in the Cortana box to see what version you have installed.....then post back.

They have always had two recovery partitions, one of 1.98GB and another 450MB.
    This is not the case.

A EUFI barebones clean install will give a 450 MB recovery partition, a 16MB MSR partition, a 100 MB EFI partition, and rest for the system (C drive partition).

Each time you upgrade, the C drive partition is shrunk by 450 MB to fit a new Recovery partition. The old one is not removed because you might roll back to that previous version.

If you have a 1.98 GB partition it is a hangover from a previous install e.g. if you upgraded from 7/8.
