I understand it's a help forum and that's what we do. But, posting a link to an ESD without any explanation on how to convert it to an ISO isn't helping anyone. IMO

It is my understanding that MS changed the way the ESD format appeared on an upgraded Build to contain Not UUW files. my bad but UUP files . Sorry for the confusion.

What's the purpose of this ESD and the ability to convert it to an ISO? Does it do anything useful? Or just an exercise.

For me, I can use that new ISO for a clean instillation if I need it.

I see. Somewhere, I believe, maybe a Kari post, I read that the official upgrade to public 15063 RTM (if that will be the build) will come down with an install.esd file. If correct, that would be the one I would use to create an ISO for clean install, or any other purpose. I don't have a link to that info, but I'm pretty sure I read that here, on TF.

This is not going to help you on the ESD in post #490. This ESD is an encrypted full ESD from a Microsoft server and does not have anything to do with UUP.
