    Haven't done a clean install since the 2nd or 3rd build of rs1. Haven't seen any need to. Thought I was going to be forced to when I had problems after a recent motherboard switch, but finally realized Secure Boot was turned on. Once I turned it off, the problems went away.

    Yes, no problem at all. I checked as soon as I booted into Windows and it was activated. My first Insider build wasn't piggybacked on an OEM or retail copy. I'm thinking activation is still tied to my Microsoft Insider account as it originally was.
