Thanks for the heads-up on the bugfixes, Dick. Much appreciated.

No problems here as it went smoothly unlike last week's large update.

My third machine a desktop i7 with unlimited high speed fibre broadband has spent nearly 2 hours downloading and only now preparing to install updates.. though this has remained static since I started this post.
Dencal, what's really odd is that everybody's update experience is consistently inconsistent. I, too, have an i7, 75/75 net, and my whole thing, from Check for Updates all the way to Desktop, was 22 minutes. Go figure.

Further to my above post......the reason for the long time taken on third computer.....TWO large updates...KB 4015438 AND KB 3150513.

I just updated a desktop and a laptop. Both took about 10 min to download this update, another 5 minutes to prepare and about 5 min to reboot. But all is good now.

    Well, it finally updated.

Update went just fine and no issues to report, so far at least.

My reading of the Event Viewer is that two large updates was more than permitted, overloading the system...maybe someone will correct me.

As far as I'm aware it's just saying that the size limit of the event log has been reached for that particular event.
