I am curious, what would be the benefit(s) to stream PC games through the Xbox one?
None. I had turned my sarcastic mode on. Personally if you have an XBox hooked up to a widescreen HD TV I don't see the point in streaming to other devices.

I use it all the time to play when the wife is watching reality crap shows. Rest of the time xbox plays to the tv.

That's why I bought a high end gaming PC and sold my XBox. If I want to use the TV for gaming I just run an HDMI cable round to the TV.

LOL Ok just checking, I was trying to figure out some reason for it but didn't notice the sarcasm The one thing I won't mind streaming to is a phone as long as it works. If I can play xbox games on the go, that's a huge win for me.

I don't want a high end pc. Don't have desire for it either. My surface pro 3 does everything I want in a tiny, portable package. I have gone "smaller" in my world which is why the streaming works great for me. Obviously many others are in the same line of thought for them to do this feature.

I never said you did. I just stated why I'd bought a gaming PC.

I know, was just giving a good example of a worthwhile purpose. Works for me and others but we are obviously not high end gamers who need that big ole pc. I will get fallout 4 and play for months and months or years....and be plenty happy. Happier that I can push to my tablet when wife steals the tv. Is the streaming perfect? Nah. Some stutters but I'm on wifi so that doesn't help. Casual use-Yes, hard core not so much.

I too hope for something where Windows 10 will allow streaming to the Xbox One. I keep swearing I have seen an article about that somewhere. In the meantime, I decided to opt for the pre-preorder release of the Steam Link and will simply use it. I should say that I bought it to test and then will be giving it to my dad so he can abuse my Steam Library (Quake 3 *ahem*).

I have a question for you knowledgeable folks out there. In theory, albeit more of a technical feat, could a VPN be established and then stream from the Xbox 10?
