Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 15061 for PC Insider

nice easy update to 15061, wish command prompt and control panel wasn't nested inside windows system
@SchrodingersCat:
You should investigate the desktop toolbar, option 4 in this tutorial:
Taskbar Toolbars - Add in Windows 10
To add a cmd.exe prompt to the same toolbar menu, right click desktop, select new, shortcut, and enter cmd into the text box, enter and enter again. Right-click the icon either on the desktop or in the toolbar menu and select the properties.
advanced will allow you to change the shortcut to an elevated admin command prompt by selecting advanced and run as administrator -and you can change the look of the console and its Icon if you wish. Here's another way:
Create Elevated Command Prompt Shortcut in Windows 10
and to get rid of the UAC prompt:
Create Elevated Shortcut without UAC prompt in Windows 10
Have fun!

950XL mobile won't talk to PC..
USB direct link not working at all..
- one of my toys isn't working..
My 950 (not XL) wasn't seen in Explorer until I manually installed the driver for "MTP USB Device" as detailed by "Rosebank" in
950 not recognised by windows 10 laptop, yellow triangle in device manager. - Windows Central Forums
There was another step not detailed in the above post. Prior to the "MTP USB Device" being detected, and I didn't note it, either. But It was named in such a way that inferred it was to do with USB devices.
One of my 'el cheapo' USB to C cables didn't work as first. Be as well to use the cable that came with the phone. The cheapo is working now since the phone has been set up.

Build 15062 is in Canary. We'll see how long the release pace will continue until RTM

Yesterday I did clean installing with version 15048 and it was updated to version 15058 via WU. Now WU says my device is up to time allthough there is version 15061 announced. Why it does not update?

Are you on Slow Ring - 15058 is latest Slow Ring version I believe.

@pirix
Just so you'll know. Any time you clean install, Windows will start you out on Slow Ring, even if you were on fast before. That's just the way they do it. Always have to check after a clean install, probably after any repair, also. Just be aware.
