Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 15061 for PC Insider

Well that was a struggle. Downloading 65% stuck for an hour with very little CPU or I/O. Restarted, downloading stuck at 72% for an hour. Restarted and it went through OK. On 15061 now.

Should we need some time to evaluate each build?
I imagine the rule is that Microsoft release a build to Fast Ring if it passes some quality criteria in terms of how many serious bugs it has. As we get nearer the release they spend more of their time on bug fixing and less on adding new features, so there are fewer bugs and almost every build meets the criteria to get to the Fast ring.

Has anybody got an idea about why they switch from watermarked builds with 5/15 expiration to non-watermarked build with no expiration?

Looks like I was wrong. It looks like Builds 14371/14372 were released back-back for Fast Ring Insiders way back in June 2016 during the final stages of Anniversary Update testing. So, this isn't the first time we got builds back-back like this. My, how time flies!
Yeah I remember being annoyed by that. Had just finished updating and had to start over!

There is no consistency. Only final build intended for release should be like that so you can leave program without clean installing.
However, in run in to AU, last few builds were like that - presumably so MS could declare any build as rtm if it suited them.

That's about the clearest answer I've heard yet!

Glitch, glitch here, glitch, glitch there, glitch, glitch everywhere. Me thinks they just forget to put it sometimes.

The watermark has to be there, on Insider Builds, for legal reasons but they're probably in the midst of testing to make sure it will go away when they release the final Creators Update.

Have been setting up a DOS 6.22 486 to be an FTP Server. Came in to switch of that machine only to discover Build 15061 was ready to restart on the Windows 10 machine.
OK, gang. I' successfully made an ISO from the UUP. Slight problem I can't find the directory it is stored in. Sheepish smiley.
EDIT: OK found it.
