Although experience shows manual upgrading via an iso to be most reliable way to upgrade. Also it can take a while before users get upgraded via Windows update.
I like to download the KB so if there are issues I can always manually install it. Solid advice!

KB4013429 re-installed today and I am not sure why

    Hey,

I successfully installed this update on the day of release 3/14/2017. I am a windows 10 Pro user x64. I had no problems before or after the install. However, today windows wanted to re-install the update and I did it. All seems normal with my system but I am curious why? Any ideas?

    Thanks, Droid

Culmative update KB4013429 os build 14393.693

This Update would not download automatically after numerous attempts, so I tried to manually install the update from the Microsoft Update Catalogue ...it got as far as about 25% installed and then it has hung in that position for over six hours! I have now cancelled the download and installation as surely this can't be correct, but have no idea what I can do next. Any help would be appreciated. ( I'm on BT Infinity 1)

KB4015438 download and install successful. A quick check of the system found no errors so far. Next is Gayle's laptop, tomorrow morning.

March 14 update and again just now, restart gets to the lock screen and stays there. Esc has no effect, however Ctrl Alt Del takes me right on to log in screen. Being only my second update I have to ask, is this normal behavior?

I tried installing the above update, but only part of the update would install before a message told me that "a problem had been encountered" and the update failed to installed. I'm at a loss what to try next. The original Culmative update KB4013429 keeps trying to install with no success.
