Installed fine on mine. I did notice in Reliability History that the Host Process for Windows (svchost) stopped working around about the same time it either restarted or came back to login page. I think that's normal though
Here it was the User Host process that failed. Time looks like it was during restart also.

Looks like the 'Retry' worked here. :)

What's the difference between the delta and the cumulative versions?
    I join the question.

I tried twice, then rebooted and shutdown Malwarebytes just in case then it installed everything successfully, but it took awhile.

All my updates installed EXCEPT the Cumulative Update. Nothing in Event Log or Update History to say why (or even that it failed). Never had an update problem before. Currently retrying....
Doesn't bode well, hope you have better luck on the retry. I'm not home yet to start mine but am not confident about this being an easy evening after reading the last couple of posts
    The retry was successful.

It's interesting to note that first time round the 'preparing to configure updates...' screen jumped straight to Restarting... after a few seconds, no '% done' counter before or after the restart. Second time round the 'downloading updates...' scale got up to 45% before asking permission to download over my metered connection.

The unavoidable conclusion is that first time round the remaining 55% of the Cumulative Update had just not been downloaded.

The retry was successful, that's right. On my laptop i did it on the first try and on my table pc had to retry just the Cumulative Update, not sure why.

GOt one done all ok in about 15-20 mins. It's the main gaming machine that's fine - phew. Just our weak living room BRIX to go stuck on getting windows ready for an age as usual.

Will creators update be as much fun as this!!!?

Mine was updated while I was having dinner. I don't know the time it took. So far, so good.

Start button doesn't do anything. Edge not opening with "class not registered) error. Did the update thru WU and also with the stand alone updates. Same thing. Anyone got a fix for this? Thanks.
