When I DL'd it, there was no file extension. Just file type "File". ESDtoISO croaked. Renamed it with .esd extension, and still croaked. What did you do?

add .esd to end of name and use decrypt-ESD

Our ESD to ISO tool only works with ESD files downloaded by Windows Update.

Went through something similar decades ago...it's not pleasant, I grant you. However, as I've noticed, these things work out for the best, eventually. Hang in there, and keep doing the great job that you are doing...! It's great to stay stimulated mentally--the cure for what ails me--I know. Computing has been a profession of mine since the 80's--but more than that, even, it's also a hobby,too--as I simply enjoy learning. I can see that you are the same! This is a field that never stagnates and in which there is always something new to learn, eh? That's what's fun about it--if I ever reach a point where I think I "know it all" I'll take that as a sign that my brain is beginning to atrophy and that it's time to start chewing the cud...

Edge is THE web browser. IE is optional for compatibility and old web application support.
Interesting. Every clean install up to build 15046 (or whichever was the last one I did) installed IE11 along with Edge. Is this something that changed with the newest build(s)?

And waiting for it to choke, sputter, hack, and grind it's teeth.....it finally comes up and runs. Anybody's guess how long it will be around!

Holy craptasticness, B@tman, you're not kidding about it choking, sputtering, hacking and grinding its proverbial teeth! Going on 2 minutes and UI still hasn't fully loaded!
