note the differences?
Watermark, expiry, activation timeout?

Is that slow poke one ?

Downloaded yesterday and ISO made from ESD update on 1607 14393, but just clean installed with online updates. So no not slowpoke one- just the 15048 that's available now.

They also just released 15048 to Slow. And you just installed. Your authentication, or something, went thru differently.

The activation server responded differently - giving a full unlimited license, rather than an evaluation one.

The downloaded Iso is the same as previously.

Coincidence? Their authentication servers freak out the other day, now you get a full blown license! Weird....... and congrats! :)

Make sure you read the FAQ, it helps to understand what sort of files and patches you can look for.

Don't bother going there unless you have issues with Windows that needs to be resolved, and know exactly what you are looking for.



UPDATE: Here is the Microsoft Knowledge Base Search Page and here is the HOWTO: query the Microsoft Knowledge Base by using keywords and query words.

Use the Knowledge Base to find solved issues, and then go to Microsoft Update Catalog and get the correct KB-file.

Great post and links for me to read and learn more about builds/releases and troubleshooting Windows issues - in case they occur in the new Windows Creators Update - with the Knowledge Base. So thanks for sharing your handy-candy directions!
