I have a subscription to buildfeed and this build was just added. We will see if it is released tomorrow.
    10.0.15051.0 (rs2_release.170303-1951)

I just checked - didn't know it existed - their website, thanks for your direction.

Just a little Q: the latest current Windows 10 build is 14393.729 since Jan 23. I'm still on 14393.693 and just checked for any new Windows updates. Why am I still on .693, do you have any idea?

    Cheers

Windows 10 Pro x64 21H1 Build 19043.1151 (Branch: Release Preview)
       #194

Windows 10.0.14393.693 BUT 10.0.14393.729 is the latest Release Preview.

    Tip   Tip

    Differences between Windows builds

    From BuildFeed

    Current Canary:
The latest build compiled by Microsoft (may become a possible insider candidate)

    Current Insider:
The latest build that is a possible insider release under testing / review by Microsoft Internally (may be released for insiders or not)

    Current Release:
The latest build for Current Branch that contains the latest security and bug patches (may be released to Current Branch users, but will be released for Release Preview users)

    Insider Previews

    Fast Ring:
Every build that Microsoft has declared stable enough for insiders to test (released to insiders 1-3 times per 2 weeks)

    Slow Ring:
Builds that contains latest features that are complete and stable enough for testing. (released about every 6 weeks)

    Release Preview:
Stays on current official branch but contains bug and security fixes (as of writing it is 10.0.14393.xxx)

    Branch:

    Current Branch:
a stable enough build that is released for everyone, but might not be stable enough for business purposes

    Current Business Branch:
A build that is stable enough for long term support for businesses. Everything is tested to be working as it should.

@Fafhrd Yes something like that. You manually install it if you have issues, if not, just ignore it. At some point all the bug fixes will be force pushed to every machine online.

EDIT: Server 2016 and Workstation 10 share a lot of code, and all those things will be eventually pushed to everybody on a workstation.

These sort of patches arrive for Release Preview ring only, when the current branch gets a little bit behind regarding issues that have been fixed in the Fast and Slow ring builds, especially to test cumulative update candidates for the current branch before they go live.

Thanks for all additional info's about the builds and releases. Do you agree that when my Windows Update stays silence, I don't need to take any further actions like manually downloading patches?

In general, that's true. Always could be the case of a patch that won't come down to you for some reason. Then, a manual solution would be the right thing. It's case specific. But, in general, let it be.
