Installed 15048 on my desktop physical machine. Created a new Microsoft Account and Windows is activated with a digital license linked to the new account. It took a long time to bring up the desktop which actually required two reboots - almost certainly because of the new account. Staying on slow ring until I see what happens next week. This build is the current canary build.

Found the first glitch on my pc, Windows defender has gone kaput. Even if I right click and open, it will only get halfway to opening.
The free Malwarebytes will require reloading also to give me some protection.

Watermark returned after installing the first non-Microsoft app. Not disturbing at all. ATTACH=CONFIG]123722[/ATTACH]

Brightness doesn't work on my ThinkPad, it's 100% all the time. On last build at least i could lower it on lock screen by key combo.
@MTA Says this in release notes. I don't have a ThinkPad, but is this related somehow?

We fixed an issue for those flighting recent builds on laptops, changing brightness would stop working after the first time the laptop lid had been closed and reopened when the “Lid Close Action” power policy was set to “Do nothing”.

While I was downloading Malwarebytes and running it, Windows Defender managed to open, so I ran a quick scan when Malwarebytes had finished, it ran normally.
Unfortunately, WD still takes an age to open.
I will try uninstalling it and reinstalling, it might help.
It is taking 32 seconds to open, better than earlier.

The watermark is redundant! It's the first thing I remove.

Edwin, please do not misunderstand me now, I am just stating a very personal, subjective opinion.

I've never understood why it is so important to some users to remove the watermark in these Insider builds as well as for instance in various Windows evaluation versions like 90 day Enterprise trial and similar.

I would be very pleased to learn how does the watermark if left there change Windows behaviour? It must do some harm or eat resources, otherwise removing it seems a complete waste of time, completely unnecessary.

Have to say I agree, Kari!

But maybe we have other little quirks - just maybe:)
