Has anyone else had trouble pairing their iPhone to a laptop after the last two fast ring updates? My iPhone 7 Plus and Dell Inspiron can't see one another now.

I had a system crash. Couldn't boot into insider edition. Had to do a clean install. My version now has an expiration date and shows logo in lower right corner with version, etc I had tried to reinstall from backup of drive from Macrium -- had two back ups of the drive. BOTH BACKUPS were corrupt and so I could not restore from them. Makes me wonder about Macrium which I have used for some time. And, I have used the program successfully to restore backups before. Don't know what happened. I ran checkup on drive to which the backups were stored. No problems reported with drive. Now, I wonder if I should be looking for a different backup program.

I got the first 15048 yesterday, and when I finished for the day, I clicked on the option "update and shut down".
It went through the full update rigmarole as soon as I switched on about one hour ago.
