Hey there,
I use win 10 build 15043 on my lumia 640 xl phone and checking for updates returns nothing. I'm on fast ring.
Maybe it's not available for my region yet (Romania - Europe).

Had a bit of a struggle with mine. UUP on stuck at downloading 95% for over an hour with virtually no CPU or disk I/O. UUP off pretty much the same. Had another go with UUP on. Stuck at 98%. Decided to leave it running overnight and it was waiting to restart this morning. The rest of it went as normal and I am now on 15048.

Windows Mobile Insider 15047
Microsoft Edge continues to malfunction in Continuum..
- running fine on the 950XL itself, but not active at all via the dock connection..
- I'm guessing that development of Phone Companion has ceased altogether..
- it hasn't functioned correctly for some time now, I've reported the matter several times - to no effect..
- on connection, via USB 3.00 - you can opt to transfer photos and videos from phone to OneDrive..
- this runs perfectly, though it does create a new Folder in OneDrive/Pictures/Camera Imports even if no transfer is made
- I have 4 Folders there already - all empty as there were no photos or videos available for transfer over..
- if you unplug USB and reinsert it will do the same search for new photos and videos - and create yet another empty folder
- guess these folders will need to be manually deleted at some point, else you'll have a heap of empty files in there.... (??)

I've made an ISO from the ESD. Clean installed in Hyper-V. Running fine.
On a totally unrelated matter, I cranked up my IBM PS/1 from 1993, she of the 386SX and 2 Megs of RAM, souped up to a 486SX with, wait for it, 6 Meg of RAM!
I connected it to the Network and let it simmer overnight. Shows up in File Manager now. Whoop!

Apparently in this Build, you can do "Holograms" in a simulator in developer mode.
But, I can't seem to get close enough to the app on the wall, in the virtual house, to read it!

Used another x86 VM with UUP turned off. Got both esd file and uup files. Made ISO's from both.

It's a boring weekend so I took the risk and upgraded from 14393 to 15048. I was Insider but due to unstable versions I always postponed by 7 days.
Took all the precautions, like making a system image with macrium, removing additional language packs and clearing the software distribution and started the upgrade.
Everything went smooth, download and preparing took like 10 minutes and 70 minutes from restart to desktop screen.
People keep talking about UUP, where is UUP in settings? It's the menu were you can chose "How updates are delivered? Mine was ON.
On login Edge was up with what's new but everything else was stuck. I managed to log out/in and it was Ok for 5 minutes until the Start menu got stuck. So I did a restart and everything seems ok now, after 2 hours.
There is some lack of optimizations, is not as snappy as AU and sometimes the Start menu is pretty laggy but.. it's fine..
